The first floor of the château, dating from the late 18th/early 19th century, houses sumptuous bedrooms and grandiose reception rooms, featuring a corridor of hunting galleries, a 98 m² (969 sq ft) lounge adorned with wainscoting, mouldings and cherubs representing the four seasons, and decor consisting of door overmantels with medallions inscribed with the letters "L".M” for Lezay Marnésia, the family involved in renovating the property in 1867, as well as a second 60m² lounge with paintings and a former smoking room to the rear. The rear facade of the château reveals its medieval side, with oak parquet flooring laid out in squares and Versailles motifs. The paintings, silent witnesses to the eras through which the château has passed, are an integral part of the sale.
