LACANAU OCEAN – World-renowned for its surf spots and beautiful beaches, Lacanau Ocean hides magnificent villas from the early 20th century, of which I am a part.

But who better than me to introduce myself!I am a splendid 1930s villa, a gem of architecture thanks to my timelessly elegant façade and my iconic color.

At the age of 100, I have seen so many people come and go… through conflicts, the first paid vacations, the AtlantikWall, beach clubs, the first campsites, and the development of tourism until Lacanau Ocean became the leading seaside resort in the Gironde.Despite my old age, you continue to paint me, photograph me, pose at my feet, tell stories about me, and admire me.

I was born a few years after my older sisters, whose architecture recalls the Moorish style (Primavera, Bonnamy, Giralda, etc.), but the style had evolved, and I became a villa firmly rooted among the first shops, hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, chalets, and, most importantly, so close to the beach in the heart of the resort.I am an old lady, yes, but a grand lady in a small body.

I may not be very tall, but I am just right for living year-round or for vacations.

I have 60 m² of living space and approximately 105 m² of total area, or even much more!Always well-maintained by my owners, who have enhanced my beauty with little renovations and transformations over time, my new owners will surely give me a second youth and maybe even make me a bicentennial, a raw diamond in a Lacanau setting.My living space, with its kitchen nook, opens onto a large south-facing terrace, shielded from prying eyes, ensuring my guests absolute privacy.

My two current bedrooms each have a bathroom and a shower room.

But I haven’t said my last word: by gaining some height, I also allow for sleeping in the attic, which is yet to be finished, while gazing at the stars and the moon reflecting on the ocean.I also have plenty of little spaces that do not count towards my living area, but a bit of imagination is all it takes to expand me without altering my essence.

You can keep me as I am for living or give me a total or partial commercial vocation.I am so full of charm that my owners prefer to keep me a secret and do not wish for me to be exposed, for I am rare and unique.
